Business loses over RM10,000 in break-in

MIRI: A businessman lost more than RM10,000 in belongings after his house which is under renovation was broken into on Wednesday morning.
The victim in his 40s, from Jalan Tanjong Lobang, only learnt of the incident after one of his workers called him around 8.00am.
It was believed that the main door of the house was forced open by thieves.
“Upon checking the house, the victim found a wood cutter, compressor, six tins of paint and a grass cutting machine were missing,” said sources.
A police report of the incident was lodged and police were investigating the case.
