MIRI: It was a wonderful surprise for Phiong Siaw Ting when she struck gold at Boulevard Shopping Mall’s ‘Wedding and Beauty Fair 2016’.
The bride-to-be was eyeing for best deals at the exhibition in preparation for the big day, but she never expected that her lot for the lucky draw would earn her the grand prize of return flight tickets to Bali for two.
“I was actually surveying some packages for my wedding – I did not expect to win such a huge prize. I would definitely start planning for my honeymoon,” a beaming Siaw Ting told reporters here after the prize presentation recently.
The grand lucky draw was among the highlights during the three-day ‘Wedding and Beauty Fair’ at the mall, which concluded on Aug 7.
Another lucky shopper, Juliana Goh, won a two-day, one-night stay at Imperial Hotel Miri; while Phiong Siaw Kian, Leonard Ling Wei Jou and Jenny Tang Chai Bin each received a meal voucher for two, courtesy of Imperial Hotel Miri.
Another shopper, Margaret Bungan Ngau, walked away with a brand-new GA Blue watch.
