Branch Manager | MISAR Sdn Bhd

  • To be responsible for the daily management and development of branch operations to meet the objectives and plans established for the branch:

    • To assist Management in the development of clear objectives and sound long term plans and strategies for the branch.

    • To be responsible for the active marketing and promotion of the branch products; in this connection is responsible for good public relations at the branch level.

    • To initiate and assist the General Manager and respective Divisional Managers in establishing sales targets and formulating marketing plans and strategies.

    • To be responsible for achieving sales budgets and branch profitability.

    • To keep branch expenditure within approved budget.

    • To monitor activities of principal clients and competitors in the region and regularly advise and communicate the information to management.

    • To communicate as often as necessary with the General Manager and Divisional Managers; review branch performances, discuss and resolve any branch problems (including that involving policies) with him.

    • To be responsible for the daily management of the breach operations within the corporate policies and in accordance with established procedures.

    • To organize, direct, coordinate and control the work of subordinates and ensure that they have full understanding of their responsibilities.

    • To review and assess subordinates’ performance on a regular and formal basis, decide and make recommendation to the management on their recruitment / appointment, transfer or dismissal and remuneration.

    • To be responsible for the overall administrative discipline of the staff and to ensure the harmonious relationship amongst staff.

Job Requirements

  • Applicants must possess a diploma or a degree in business administration or any equivalent field.

  • Possess at least 5 -8 years of relevant working experience in management field or related field.

  • Possess strong leadership qualities to manage and lead a team to conceptualize, contrive, and implement marketing strategies and sales activities to achieve planned targets.

  • Positive disposition, self-motivated and resourceful with proven ability to multitask and operate successfully under tight deadlines.

  • Proven leadership, team player, organization and team building skills.

  • Strong presentation, EQ, public relations and with strong networking skills.

  • Able to work independently and liaise closely with clients and consultants.

  • Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.

  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
