JOB SUMMARY
- Ensure that the business unit achieves the agreed KPIs
- Ensure that the business unit focused on growing the core business lines which are in line with AXA’s vision and strategy
- Ensure that the business unit complies with AXA underwriting and operational procedures and guidelines
- Ensure that the business unit complies with the company’s service standards
- Ensure smooth functioning of the operations in collaboration with other departments
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and motivate the business unit to achieve growth, profitability, retention, agency recruitment and credit control KPIs

Manage and resolve all underwriting, claims and operational issues

Develop and execute action plans to secure new business and recruitment of new agents

Support, implement and execute Head Office strategies and action plans

Identify and groom talents for succession planning

Coach and counsel weak performers to achieve the desired performance standard
KEY REQUIREMENTS -
Degree in any discipline and/or related
-
AMII /ACII / DMII or equivalent insurance qualifications
-
Minimum of 5 years experience in and /or similar role / capacity

Good Inter-personal/communication/leadership skills

IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office
