Below taken in Hong Jian Nao, Shaanxi, China, it’s the largest freshwater lake in the middle of the desert in Shaanxi Provice in China.

nice shot. i love birding but no long zoom le. have to use my ol’ oly750 liao. Since you;ve created a bird shot topic, i might as well post some of my old bird photos taken mostly with my oly750 in my backyard. they are birds commonly found in miri.

Argyle is located in the East Kimberley Region of Western Australia, on a map it close to the top end of WA right at the boarder with the Northern Territory. Look for Lake Argyle which is where the mine got its name from. We’re just south west of the lake.
Yep, WA is very big and empty - population =2.5 million, where 2 million lives in Perth. There’s lot of mines in WA and most are located far away from Perth. Most engineers fly in and out of the mine sites.
