Where: Center Point 2 (near to OCBC)
Type: Malay restaurant
Occasion: Lunch
Good:
Nice place, neat furniture arrangement
Nice food (also their nightmare)
Bad:
Nice food but they have no idea whats in the menu & what they are cooking.
My friend & I were tired of pork actually & we’re exiting OCBC (cheque deposit). So we went to the nearest eateries. Balik Kampung Cafe. There no balik kampung feels anyway. 1st my friend ordered ‘Nasi Goreng Pattaya’. The waitress, looks confuse & say “Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin?”. Duh, ‘pattaya’ & ‘ikan masin’ not even close. And I ordered ‘Nasi Goreng USA’ - USA means udang, sotong, ayam. The waitress asking back, “Chicken or meat?”. Duh, the menu says it all.
Finally, what we got was friend rice with pickles & daging masak merah with onions. Great. There was no ikan masin fortunately. And unfortunately, there was also no traces chicken, squids or prawn.
After my friend paid for 'em, we head to Hot Cross Bun.
I every eat there if not mistaken 4 times already…when it started to open all the food there nice but dont know y now not nice…I think chef change…and what you comment on the bad thing made me laugh hahaaha…

she dunno what Nasi Goreng USA or Nasi Goreng Pattaya (whats the purpose she carrying the menu anyway)
