Hi, I want to ask about avanza (latest edition) alarm system.
Problem:
During night time, the avanza alarm always go buzzing. I don’t know what caused it to buzz. Checked every door, all properly closed. During day time, the alarm never go buzzing. except at nite, after everyone went to sleep. Kacau orang tidur. Sometimes, this goes a few times in one night.
Question:
What cause the alarm to buzz?
Any way we can stop that?

I know that in all toyota cars, the alarm system is very sensitive towards mobile devices.
Me & a friend tried on both Toyota Hilux & Toyota Vios, left a Nexus 7 in the hilux and a ipad in the vios.
Both alarms rang after afew moments. I took out the devices and they didnt ring after that.
Nexus was a 3g model while the ipad was a wifi model.
ronald, i already make sure that have not left any mobile phones and stuffs…still, out of the blue, tiba-tiba alarm berbunyi in the middle of the nite.

miki, no…during good nite…no rain, no wind… 
maybe its sensitive…
maybe it has a vibration sensor? Try asking the toyota service center or salesman for info? But afaik, ori alarms don’t always come with vibration sensors.

Avanza alarm got its own sensor can be adjusted by level of sensitivity.

I think its free if u want to adjust sensitivity only,but I cant confirm u about iteven if got charge will be estimate rm10-20,not sure :roll:
Actually the place I mean is the new toyota service centre at By-Pass Road there~

Why not call up the car salesman that handled your car registration etc… maybe it’d be free by then coz you did nothing to tweak it… it came the way it is and it is now being a nuisance haha
