I dont think there is Akido class in miri. Join karate lah. Almost the same

Hello Shay,

Thanks for the info.

Karate is good and definitely rewarding but i’m looking for something that is more subtle.
Something for my movements especially because I hardly go for exercise due to work.
I need to start something, need to sweat.

Are you in the karate class Shay? Maybe i can have a peep during the training?

Thanks.

Nope. Im in other martial art. Not interested in karate cos quite slow and they always like to shout a lot and make that funny2 breathing sound.hahaha
I like akido as well. Seem got harmony in their movement.

Exactly Shay … Harmonious.
That’s what i like about Aikido.

wish they were here…haha i heard at saberkas teaching capoeira…u dont want to try? hehe or maybe join silat…also cool…short range combat

what is capoeira? never heard of it before…
silat … naa … no combat for me … no breaking bricks or wood of such …
maybe tai chi …

u can try looking at krokop 5 Shorinji Kempo

Maxi,

Hello there… I will definitely look for it, but where about is at Krokop 5?
Is it a shop house area? I’m from Kuching just recently moved to Miri and
i’m not familiar with the area.

Thank you very much for the info Maxi. Really appreciate it.

woo go suft internet. Capoeira is from brazil. silat no breaking bricks? you sure? they can break it just by pointing at it, bend rod and etc. try surf 1st. u tube got lots of info. hahaa btw, for wat breaking bricks? there is a secret on the brick / wood itself. u cant simply use your hand and break it. I heard they soak it with chemical 1st so it can break easily.i prefer close combat & weapon.
tai chi maybe not for me. better go for teakwando.

No wonder. Where are u staying now?

shay,

How did you quote my quote and post it  … Sorry bro, i buta IT sikit.

The breaking bricks/wood arts that i mentioned earlier on is that i can’t afford to join any martial arts that require us to do that;
such as silat, taekwando etc … I just want something that is, like you had mentioned, harmonious arts. Just for health and exercises
but martial arts. I know Aikido is one of it.

I stay at Desa Permy. Housing area, walking distance from Giant mall.
