4WD Stolen In Neighbouring Town (Miri)

Not trying to bring up negative issues only - but this serves as a precaution for awareness on the worsening car theft problems among Bruneian cars.

Bandar Seri Begawan - Local man claimed that his car was stolen during his trip with his family to a neighbouring town last week.

The victim, who didn’t wish to be identified, said his four-wheel-drive vehicle was stolen when it was parked at one of the parking lots in the town.

He parked the car and went for shopping with his family. When he return he was shocked to find the car was no longer there.

Several personal belongings were still in the car and he had to contact his nearest relative for help. He said the theft had been reported at the Miri Police Station. – Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
