there are always many stuff only available in the US, fortunately u don't need to blame urself not being born there. i got myself a USA mail address at http://www.usa2me.com, pretty convenient especially for those 'only available & ship to the USA' things.

You sure? It might be the Release Candidate version.

In some case, they give you Vista but with a promise to provide free upgrade to Windows 7 once the operating system hit the market.

i saw the FREE windows 7 words in the paper. but i didnt really look it up properly. but the paper made me check microsoft's website and thats how i found out that windows 7 can be pre-ordered.

But i think if i got the budget maybe i'll buy Windows 7. It is the best thing Microsoft ever came up since Windows 95. Might wanna get a genuine license 4 Windows 7 2 support it...

my general thumb of rule - never buy ms newest release till 1.5-2yrs later.

not to mention how ugly i think vista is.

am using xp and will stay with it till win 7 can prove its better.

I'm using Windows 7 RC now n its so much better than Vista & XP...it got the speed of XP & the security & stability of Vista, not to mention tat it is x10 more beautiful than both OS. Windows 7 oledi proved that it is better.

btw, i'm sure Windows 7 will hit the 10% mark very quickly when it is released. Got lots of people want to leave Vista right now & some more new PC buyer who will be feed with the Windows 7 OS. Now is only the beta testing stage; of course the market share is quite low...=D

ms products are famed for looking good initially, people reviewing it give a thumb-up, after a while using "ah! this problems, ouch! pink screen death, yaikz~ big bill gates photo appear in front of my desktop at 12am", etc, etc....

let others test it out first, i'll wait a while n see
