Yes. it is called service tax. Same name as the 5% you're paying when u buy ur KFC or McD.
The idea is to tax consumer as they consume services. Sooner or later, we're getting GST, and that's when we're gonna be paying tax for goods that we're buying, not only services that we use. The "G" reduced tax rates, and introduce all these to compensate.
