SSB can only employ locals without degree, max diploma only.
Degree holders are decided by Shell Malaysia which is part of the company policy.
In my opinion, Sarawak State government owe the people of Sarawak a duty to safeguard their interest.
Most oil and gas in Malaysia comes from Sarawak anyways, I dont see why State Government should not intervene
by fighting for more autonomy in deciding their resources. eg, Let SSB or petronas in Sarawak Owned by the sarawakians
and let them decide who to employ and policy-making. Instead of giving priorities to Foreigners, Peninsular malaysians while
Sarawakians left behind scattering across sg, Brunei and KL to look for employment.

This tread is about SHELL. What has the business and HR decisions within SHELL got to do with who people voted for? SHELL is a private company. Do not mislead readers.
Even in Western world, politics influence business. True that Shell is a private company but the Oil belongs to the state and people. We are the stakeholders and deserve the right to set the rules. In this case, Government represents the ppl. Anyway, state gov right now is sh*t anyways.
