This new policy will help moto dealers to sell more new cars and at the same time prevent people especially the less well-to-do to buy used cars. For a start, third party insurance is no longer sold by almost all the insurance companies.

Probably new car prices may rise while 2nd hand cars value will fall or not sellable.

Dennos2, you may be spot-on with that comment.

Being the only company in Malaysia to carry out this inspection, won't that be a monopoly? And we all know what are the results of monopoly. To name a few, complacency, bad service, inflated pricing issues and not to mention, 'kopi-o'. I do hope that will not happen. But judging from previous experiences with such companies in Malaysia, well, i think it will just be a matter of time before it occurs.

Do you guys think that car inspections should only be carried out by just one company, throughout our country? Bear in mind that Puspakom is a SDN. BHD.

But then again, perhaps we can still give a benefit of a doubt that noone else established a similar company to compete with them.
